Baseball Game Preview: Vista del Lago Ravens vs. Rancho Christian Eagles

For the second straight game, Vista del Lago will face off against Rancho Christian. It'll be a Battle of the Birds when Vista del Lago Ravens challenge Rancho Christian Eagles at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. Vista del Lago is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.

Vista del Lago came up short against Rancho Christian on Tuesday, falling 13-3.

For Rancho Christian's part, Sean Downs made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off four hits. Downs also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Rancho Christian is 2-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 3-4 otherwise. Downs was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4.
