Softball Recap: Pembroke Comes Up Short

Pembroke was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 15-2 to the Stark Generals. The game marked the Spartans' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Pembroke's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Stark, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Pembroke is set to face off against their familiar foe Bow at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Stark will challenge rival Lebanon at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
