Football Recap: Fernandina Beach Takes a Loss

Fernandina Beach fell victim to Baldwin and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They took a 13-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Baldwin Indians.

Charlotte Minnon looked great while leading her team to the win, throwing for 53 yards and two touchdowns, while also rushing for 53 yards.

Fernandina Beach's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Baldwin, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fernandina Beach will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Baker County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Baldwin, they will take on Fleming Island at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
