Football Recap: Cummings Takes a Loss + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Cummings can now relate to. They were outmatched by the North Pitt Panthers and fell 44-7. While losing is never fun, the Cavaliers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina football rankings (they are ranked 329th, while the Panthers are ranked 149th).

Jakori McNair threw for 82 yards on ten of 20 attempts. Jahsan Thompson was his top target, picking up 46 receiving yards.

Juhron Clemmons was his usual excellent self, rushing for 182 yards and four TDs on only 15 carries for North Pitt. Those 182 rushing yards gave Clemmons a new career-high. Dontarius Roberson got in on the action as well, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Cummings has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season. As for North Pitt, they pushed their record up to 6-5 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Cummings does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for North Pitt, they have already played their next game, a 28-23 win against Randleman on the 14th.
