            Basketball Recap: Mullen Mustangs vs. Arapahoe Warriors        
        
		
        
        
            Mullen was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight  loss. They took  a  53-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Arapahoe Warriors. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings  (they are ranked 53rd, while the Warriors are ranked seventh).

 Mullen's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Ben Medina, who  went 6 for 13  en route to 17 points and six  rebounds. Medina is also on a roll when it comes to  steals, as he's  now  grabbed two or more in the last four games he's  played.  Mason Bonner was another key player,  dropping  a double-double on ten  points and ten  boards.
 It was another big night for  Ryan Pramenko, who  went 8 of 15  on his way to 23 points and seven  rebounds for Arapahoe. With that strong performance,  Pramenko is now averaging an impressive 15.4  points per game. Another player making a difference was  Brock Moody, who  posted four points and 11  boards.
Mullen's loss dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Arapahoe, they pushed their record up to 13-2 with the  victory, which was their eighth straight  at home.
 Mullen will host Grandview  at 7:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Grandview is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 56.9  points per game  this season. As for Arapahoe, they are taking a road trip to  take on Overland  at 7:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Arapahoe also hasn't been messing around on offense: they've averaged 58.8  points per game.
