Soccer Recap: Eastern Wayne Comes Up Short + How To Watch

The Eastern Wayne Warriors lost 8-2 to the North Pitt Panthers on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, Eastern Wayne can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 478th, while North Pitt are ranked 115th).

Christ-Yvan Yao and Ezekiel Roberson scored both of Eastern Wayne's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 16 goals.

Eastern Wayne's loss dropped their record down to 3-5-2. As for North Pitt, the win (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 12-1-2.

Coincidentally, Eastern Wayne and North Pitt will both be playing Washington the next time they take the pitch. The Warriors will host the Pam Pack at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Panthers will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
