Baseball Recap: Tome Titans vs. Tri-State Christian Crusaders
The third road matchup was the charm for Tome, as they earned their first away win of the season. They came out on top against the Tri-State Christian Crusaders by a score of 9-6 on Tuesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Titans also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2025.

Blaine Pendergraft made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over 6.1 innings while giving up four earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one double.
In other batting news, Jack Widdoes was excellent, getting on base in all five of his plate appearances with three RBI and one run. Robbie Reichelmann was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two RBI and one run.
Tome's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Tri-State Christian, they now have a losing record of 1-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tome will venture away from home to face off against Delaware Valley Classical at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Tri-State Christian, they will take on ASPIRA Charter at 3:15 p.m. on the 23rd.
