Volleyball Recap: Alivia Terry Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat Arab

After losing to Arab the last time they met, Lawrence County decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Red Devils narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Knights 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Red Devils have posted since October 12, 2024.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Lawrence County to victory, but perhaps none more so than Alivia Terry, who had seven assists and four digs. That's the most assists Terry has posted since back in October of 2024.

Despite the defeat, Arab saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Eliza Trammell had ten digs and two aces.

Lawrence County's win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Arab, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Lawrence County didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Vestavia Hills on the 23rd. As for Arab, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Northridge on the 23rd.
