Baseball Recap: Floydada's Win Ends Five-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Floydada). They blew past the Memphis Cyclones 11-1 on Friday. The Whirlwinds not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since March 8, 2024.

RJ McHam was excellent, scoring two runs while going 1-for-2. He also brought in an RBI, marking his first of the season.

Floydada's win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-5. As for Memphis, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Floydada will challenge Wellington at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Memphis, they will square off against Clarendon at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
