Bishop Alemany is still undefeated this season after their matchup against Burbank on Saturday, but Burbank came as close as anyone has to beating them. The Bishop Alemany Warriors came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Burbank Bulldogs. The two-run effort marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Aleena Medina was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in both of her plate appearances. She also put up an RBI, which was her first of the season.

Bishop Alemany's victory bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Burbank, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6-1.

Looking ahead, Bishop Alemany will be taking part in a tournament against Montebello at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Burbank, they will take on South El Monte in a tournament on Saturday. South El Monte is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7 runs per game this season.
