Basketball Game Preview: Cloudcroft Bears vs. Pine Hill Warriors

The Cloudcroft Bears just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Pine Hill Warriors at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Cloudcroft is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering New Mexico Military Institute just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Thursday. They took a 53-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Colts.

Meanwhile, Pine Hill suffered their biggest defeat since December 4, 2025 on Thursday. They took a blow against Cobre, falling 67-29.

Pine Hill's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Cloudcroft, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-9.

Everything went Cloudcroft's way against Pine Hill in their previous matchup back in December of 2018, as Cloudcroft made off with a 62-41 win. Will the Bears repeat their success, or do the Warriors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
