Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only NorthWood walked away with it. They came out on top against the Fairfield Falcons by a score of 6-2 on Monday. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Falcons recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

NorthWood let Ean Bogan and Finley Miller run wild. Bogan got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs and one RBI, while Miller went 3-for-4 with one run and one RBI.

NorthWood hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their strikeout total in three consecutive contests.

NorthWood's victory bumped their record up to 17-10-1. As for Fairfield, their loss dropped their record down to 13-16.

As of now, neither NorthWood nor the Falcons have any future games scheduled.
