Palma lost to Rancho San Juan back in February of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Chieftains walked away with a 3-1 win over the Trailblazers. The victory was familiar territory for the Chieftains, who have now won four matchups in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 21-25, 25-14, 25-19.

Palma's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-4. As for Rancho San Juan, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-12.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Palma will take on rival Everett Alvarez at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Rancho San Juan is set to square off against their familiar foe Pacific Collegiate at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
