Baseball Game Preview: McKinley Panthers vs. McDonogh 35 Roneagles

The McKinley Panthers will venture away from home to challenge the McDonogh 35 Roneagles at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. McKinley has given up an average of 12.8 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.

It was a proper cat-fight when McKinley faced off against East Iberville on Thursday. McKinley lost 12-6 to East Iberville. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Meanwhile, McDonogh 35 came up short against Tara on Friday, falling 11-4. The loss was the Roneagles' first of the season.

McKinley's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for McDonogh 35, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

McKinley took their win against McDonogh 35 in their previous meeting back in March of 2016 by a conclusive 13-6. The rematch might be a little tougher for McKinley since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
