While Plant's win against Robinson wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Panthers won by a run and slipped past the Knights 4-3. The victory continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Knights: they've now won four in a row.

COY KELLER looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than two hits in six consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on DANNY CERELLI, who scored a run while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was CASH STRAYER, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Plant's win bumped their record up to 17-6. As for Robinson, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-13 record this season.

Plant will head out to face off against Durant at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Panthers 1.9, the Cougars 3.6) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Robinson, they will welcome Plant City at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Raiders will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Knights surely won't give up without a fight.
