Basketball Recap: Chippewa Takes a Loss

After flying high against Rittman last Friday, Chippewa came back down to earth. The Chippewa Chipps took a 56-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lake Center Christian Tiger on Saturday. The match marked the Chipps' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Chippewa has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record this season. As for Lake Center Christian, their victory was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chippewa will head out to take on Hillsdale at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lake Center Christian, they will venture away from home to face off against John F. Kennedy Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
