Basketball Game Preview: Holy Family Tigers vs. Fairview Knights

The Holy Family Tigers will face off against the Fairview Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Friday, Holy Family was able to grind out a solid victory over Frederick, taking the game 56-43.

Meanwhile, Fairview entered their tilt with Centaurus on Friday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. They strolled past the Warriors with points to spare, taking the game 54-40. Given the Knights' advantage in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings (they are ranked 30th, while the Warriors are ranked 147th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Holy Family better keep an eye on Spencer Brown. He was instrumental in Fairview's win, going 5 for 9 en route to 20 points in addition to eight rebounds and seven assists. Another player making a difference was Toray Davis, who posted eight points and four steals.

Holy Family's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-5. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.3 points per game. As for Fairview, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-2 record this season.
