Recap: North Crowley Panthers vs. Chisholm Trail Rangers
The North Crowley Panthers put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They claimed a resounding 77-0 victory over Chisholm Trail at home. Fans of North Crowley have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season ended as a blowout.
Chris Jimerson went supernova for North Crowley, throwing for 359 yards and seven touchdowns while picking up 12.8 yards per attempt. The team also got some help courtesy of Kiante Ingram, who rushed for 68 yards and three touchdowns.
North Crowley's win was their fifth straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 9-0. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 1-8 Chisholm Trail and 3-6 Paschal (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 37.8% over those games). As for Chisholm Trail, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Crowley will square off against Crowley at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Crowley's favor is that they have now posted big point totals in their last three games. As for Chisholm Trail, they will head out on the road to face off against Boswell at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Boswell presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Chisholm Trail in Texas (Boswell is ranked 152nd, while Chisholm Trail is ranked 776th).
