Baseball Game Preview: Lancaster Tigers vs. Skyline Raiders

For the second straight game, Lancaster will face off against Skyline. Lancaster is taking a road trip to challenge Skyline at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lancaster will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last.

Having struggled with three losses in a row, Lancaster turned things around against Skyline on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Raiders by a score of 6-3.

Leo Leiva made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 13 batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits (and not a single walk). Those 13 strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 1-for-3.

In other batting news, Joseph Foster and Kendall Jackson did most of the damage at the plate: Foster scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-3, while Jackson scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Skyline dropped their record down to 6-10 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Lancaster, their victory bumped their record up to 10-7.
