Meanwhile, North Gwinnett suffered their biggest defeat since November 20, 2023 on Saturday. They took a blow against Peachtree Ridge, falling 66-34. The loss continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Lions: they've now lost eight in a row.

North Gwinnett's defeat dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Duluth, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-9 record this season.
