Softball Recap: Moorefield Comes Up Short

After soaring to 13 runs the game before, Moorefield was a bit more limited in their game on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Strasburg Rams by a score of 2-1. The Yellow Jackets haven't had much luck with the Rams recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Moorefield's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Strasburg, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Coming up, Moorefield will venture away from home to take on Philip Barbour at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Strasburg, they will welcome Sherando at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Strasburg's pitchers better be ready for this one: Sherando has averaged an impressive 7.4 runs per game this season.
