Volleyball Recap: Kerr-Vance Academy Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Kerr-Vance Academy and Friendship Christian squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Kerr-Vance Academy had to settle for second. They lost 3-0 to the Falcons. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Kerr-Vance Academy was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-21, 25-18.

Marie Scott White paced Kerr-Vance Academy's offense, picking up nine kills. White got some help from Emma Caudle and her 13 assists. Lyla Richardson controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Kerr-Vance Academy's loss dropped their record down to 7-16. As for Friendship Christian, they pushed their record up to 5-11 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Kerr-Vance Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Friendship Christian, they are taking a road trip to square off against Halifax Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
