Melrose has gone a perfect 10-0 against Floyd recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Buffaloes are taking a road trip to square off against the Broncos at 5:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Melrose has six straight wins, Floyd has four straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

On Thursday, Melrose made easy work of Gateway Christian and carried off a 3-0 victory.

Melrose's got stronger as the match went on, holding Gateway Christian to fewer and fewer points set over set. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-21, 25-13.

Meanwhile, Floyd came up short against Dora on Thursday, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-12, 25-14.

Melrose's win bumped their record up to 13-2. As for Floyd, their loss dropped their record down to 3-14.

Everything went Melrose's way against Floyd in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, as Melrose made off with a 3-0 victory. Do the Buffaloes have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Broncos turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
