Recap: Rouse Raiders vs. Argyle Eagles
The Rouse Raiders pushed their score all the way to 56 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 67-56 to Argyle. Despite running the score up even higher than they did on Friday (55), Rouse still had to take the loss.
Loss or not, Rouse got some senior leadership from Jojo Moore who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 11 rebounds and Devin Brown who scored 20 points. Moore scored a full 30.4% of Rouse's points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Amarie Haywood was another key contributor, scoring 10 points.
Rouse's loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Argyle, their victory bumped their record up to 9-1.
Rouse is on the road again on Saturday and play against Smithson Valley at 8:00 a.m. on December 2nd. Smithson Valley will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 221st, while Rouse is ranked 31st). As for Argyle, they will head out on the road to face off against Georgetown at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.
