Tussey Mountain and Southern Fulton are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2018, but likely not for long. Tussey Mountain will host Southern Fulton at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Tussey Mountain will be strutting in after a win while Southern Fulton will be coming in after a defeat.

Tussey Mountain headed into their last match having not scored more than two runs for three straight, but Rockwood let them put that streak behind them. Tussey Mountain was the clear victor by a 16-2 margin over Rockwood on Thursday. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Titans' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.

Joslyn Raley made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over six innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits (and only one walk). Raley was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Emily Lazor was a standout: she scored two runs while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was Lila Gabrielson, who scored four runs while going 1-for-1.

Tussey Mountain always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .524. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Meanwhile, Southern Fulton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 10-4 to Everett.

Brynley Schriever and Kamryn Pittman stepped up to the plate in a big way. Schriever scored a run while going 2-for-4, while Pittman went 2-for-4 with one triple and one run.

Tussey Mountain's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Southern Fulton, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.

Tussey Mountain was able to grind out a solid win over Southern Fulton in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, winning 9-5. Does Tussey Mountain have another victory up their sleeve, or will Southern Fulton turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
