Mountain View-Gotebo and Tipton pushed the score to 64-14 the last time they played Tipton, but on Thursday defenses reigned supreme. Mountain View-Gotebo walked away with an 18-6 victory over Tipton. For Mountain View-Gotebo, this counts as revenge for the 64-14 win Tipton walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

Mountain View-Gotebo's victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-1.
