Riverside lost against Englewood back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Generals lost 3-0 to the Rams. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-12, 25-18.

Englewood found their leader in sophomore Phoenix Kimura, who had 19 digs and five aces. Kimura is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least 15 every time she's taken the court this season. Ana Torres was another key player, getting ten digs and two aces.

Riverside's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Englewood, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Looking ahead, Riverside will be playing at home against Duval Charter at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Englewood, they will venture away from home to challenge Parker at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
