Soccer Recap: Union Comes Up Short

Union was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against the Ben Lomond Scots, falling 6-2. The matchup was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly Union struggled afterwards.

Andrus Jensen and Cody Duncan scored both of Union's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 12 goals.

Union's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Ben Lomond, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-4 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Union will take on rival Ogden at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Ben Lomond is set to face off against their familiar foe Morgan at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
