Basketball Recap: Jenna Wolf's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Bishop Ready over North Union

Bishop Ready was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. The matchup between them and the North Union Wildcats didn't end well, with the Bishop Ready Silver Knights falling 44-28. The Silver Knights were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Several Silver Knights players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jenna Wolf, who posted nine points and seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Courtnae Turner, who put up three points and eight boards.

Even though they lost, Bishop Ready smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've managed all season.

Bishop Ready's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10. As for North Union, the win (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 15-1.

Bishop Ready has already played their next game, a 42-26 loss against Buckeye Valley on the 24th. As for North Union, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 55-19 victory against Benjamin Logan on the 25th.
