Volleyball Recap: Northridge Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Northridge had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Bonneville Lakers. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 3-0 win back in September.

While Northridge won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-22, 25-16.

Northridge can attribute much of their success to Sailor Farner, who had ten digs and two aces. That's the most digs Farner has posted over her last seven matchups.

Northridge's victory bumped their record up to 17-11. As for Bonneville, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-16.

Northridge does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bonneville, after both having extra time off, they and Clearfield will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
