Basketball Recap: Loyalsock Township Snaps Three-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Loyalsock Township was the 67-44 winner over Hughesville when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Loyalsock Township Lancers took a 73-65 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hughesville Spartans on Saturday. The Lancers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Loyalsock Township's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-7. As for Hughesville, their victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Loyalsock Township will head out to square off against Montoursville at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Hughesville, they will venture away from home to face off against South Williamsport at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
