Baseball Recap: Immanuel Takes a Loss

Immanuel and Reedley squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Immanuel had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Pirates by a score of 5-4. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Pirates this season, with their most recent defeat being a 6-5 loss back in April.

Immanuel's defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 15-12. As for Reedley, their win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 12-13.

Immanuel does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Reedley, they will challenge Pioneer Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
