Brenan Kuntz and Dillion Powell provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Newport Central Catholic. The connection went for 56 yards, the longest such play in 6A District 6 this season.

Adding to the longest winning streak in the league this week, Simon Kenton beat the Thoroughbreds 30-7,. The win marks fourth in a row for the the Pioneers.

Simon Kenton's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Kuntz threw for 257 and 3 touchdowns and Grant Wassom had 124 yards receiving. On the ground Powell contributed 80 yards. Powell helped Simon Kenton's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 66 yards.
