Basketball Recap: Millard South Patriots vs. Omaha Westside Warriors
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Millard West, Millard South was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They took down the Omaha Westside Warriors 46-32. This was payback for the Patriots, who suffered a 52-43 loss the last time these two teams met.
Millard South was led to victory by Aubrey Carder and Abbi Durow. Carder went 5 for 9 en route to 13 points, while Durow went 6 of 9 on her way to 14 points. Ellie Leuschen also deserves some recognition as she scored her first points of the season.
Millard South was working as a unit and finished the game with 17 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Omaha Westside only racked up six assists.
