Soccer Recap: Schenck Takes a Loss

Schenck was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Central Red Devils. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Central this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-2 last Tuesday.

Schenck's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Central, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.

Schenck and Central could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Maine Rankings. The Wolverines (ranked 108th) will meet Easton (ranked 31st) at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Central will face off against Orono at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank disadvantage (88 vs. 23).
