On Monday Baris Brua didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out seven over 4.1 innings pitched. The performance marked the most strikeouts Brua has had over his last six contests. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was his fifth in a row with less than two hits. On the season, he has an ERA of .78 over 18 innings pitched.
