Softball Recap: Calabasas Takes a Loss

Calabasas was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against the Agoura Chargers, falling 28-3. If the Coyotes were looking for revenge after losing 23-7 to the Chargers when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Camryn Somoza was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Calabasas' defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Agoura, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-6 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Calabasas will challenge rival Newbury Park at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Agoura is set to face off against their familiar foe Oaks Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
