Softball Recap: Northeast Lauderdale Takes a Loss

Northeast Lauderdale was the 10-8 winner over Union when they last played one another back in March, but their luck changed this time around. The Trojans fell just short of the Yellowjackets by a score of 13-12 on Saturday. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Northeast Lauderdale's defeat dropped their record down to 12-6. As for Union, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-10.

Looking ahead, Northeast Lauderdale will venture away from home to square off against Leake Central at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Union, they will host Clarkdale at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Bulldogs will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something the Yellowjackets surely won't give up without a fight.
