Baseball Recap: Redington Huskies vs. Kodiak Bears

Redington faced Kodiak in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Huskies beat the Bears by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 7-6. Winning may never get old, but the Huskies sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Braiden Greene was excellent, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs. Those two runs gave him a new career-high. Cayden Ingraham was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two runs and one double.

Redington's victory bumped their record up to 4-8. As for Kodiak, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5-1 record this season.
