Soccer Recap: Corona del Mar Takes a Loss

Corona del Mar was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were one goals away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Dana Hills Dolphins. The matchup was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but the Sea Kings couldn't quite close it out.

Corona del Mar's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Dana Hills, their victory bumped their record up to 5-0-1.

Corona del Mar will welcome Los Alamitos at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Dana Hills, they will challenge Tesoro at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Dana Hills' last three games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
