Wright City skates past Haworth with ease

The Wright City Lumberjax scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They claimed a resounding 76-25 win over Haworth on the road. That looming 76-25 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Wright City yet this season.

Wright City's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Braileigh Threadgill led the charge by scoring 17 points along with eight rebounds and seven steals. Threadgill has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. Ali Gibson was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with five rebounds and five steals.

The win makes it two in a row for Wright City and bumps their season record up to 14-1. As for Haworth, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wright City will take on Caddo at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Caddo is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. As for Haworth, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Eagletown at 6:30 p.m.
