Soccer Recap: Harding Comes Up Short

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Harding was not quite Bridgeport Central's equal in the second half on Friday. They fell just short of the Hilltoppers by a score of 1-0. If Harding were looking for revenge after losing 7-2 to Bridgeport Central when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Harding's loss dropped their record down to 4-6-1. As for Bridgeport Central, they picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 2-13.

Looking ahead, Harding will be playing in front of their home fans against Westbrook at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Harding are facing Westbrook at the right time seeing as Westbrook are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Bridgeport Central, they will head out to take on Norwalk at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
