Football Recap: Millington Piles Up the Points Against Sandusky + How To Watch

Millington won the last time they faced Sandusky and things went their way on Friday too. The Cardinals simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Wolves 55-20. Given the Cardinals' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan football rankings (they are ranked 59th, while the Wolves are ranked 313th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Several Wolves players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Nathaniel Tovar, who picked up 167 receiving yards and a pair of scores. The team also got some help courtesy of Jack Betts, who threw for 210 yards and three touchdowns.

Millington's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Sandusky, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Millington will host Cass City at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Sandusky, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Bendle at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
