Softball Recap: Brocton Comes Up Short at Home Against Westfield

Brocton unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Westfield Wolverines on Friday, falling 14-1. The Bulldogs have struggled against the Wolverines recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Brocton saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Paige Miller, who went 1-for-2 with one triple and one run.

Brocton has already played their next contest (against Salamanca), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Westfield, they will take on Forestville Central at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
