Basketball Recap: Lake Creek Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Lake Creek took on A&M Consolidated on Tuesday. The Lake Creek Lions took a hard 42-27 fall against the A&M Consolidated Tigers. The game marked the Lions' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Nariyah Thompson had an outrageously good game for A&M Consolidated as she dropped a double-double on 15 points and 12 boards. Da'Mya Turner was another key player, putting up six points along with seven assists and three steals.

Lake Creek has traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last 11 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-16 record this season. As for A&M Consolidated, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-10.
