Soccer Recap: Louisa County Comes Up Short

Louisa County lost against Western Albemarle back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Lions lost 4-0 to the Warriors. While losing is never fun, Louisa County can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 266th, while Western Albemarle are ranked 42nd).

Louisa County's loss was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Western Albemarle, their victory bumped their record up to 7-3.

Coming up, Louisa County will take on Monticello at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Western Albemarle, they will face off against Orange County at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Orange County will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Western Albemarle surely won't give up without a fight.
