Football Game Preview: Shelton Highclimbers vs. Heritage Timberwolves + How To Watch

Shelton is preparing for their first district matchup of the season on Friday. They are taking a road trip to square off against the Heritage Timberwolves at 7:00 p.m. Shelton has given up an average of 30 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Friday, Shelton had to suffer through a 55-25 loss at the hands of WF West. While losing is never fun, the Highclimbers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington football rankings (they are ranked 205th, while the Bearcats are ranked 43rd).

Meanwhile, Heritage strolled into their game on Thursday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They blew past Kentlake 45-6. Considering the Timberwolves have won three games by more than 38 points this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

This is the second loss in a row for Shelton and nudges their season record down to 1-3. As for Heritage, their win bumped their record up to 4-0.

Shelton was able to grind out a solid victory over Heritage when the teams last played back in October of 2024, winning 28-19. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Highclimbers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
