Basketball Recap: Benzie Central Takes a Loss

Benzie Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They were dealt a 70-20 loss at the hands of the Ludington Orioles. While losing is never fun, the Huskies can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 575th, while the Orioles are ranked 142nd).

Benzie Central's defeat dropped their record down to 2-17. As for Ludington, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season.

As of now, neither Benzie Central nor Ludington have any future games scheduled.
