There's no place like home for Battle Creek, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Marshall County Tigers on Thursday as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Grizzlies not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since September 20, 2024 (when they won 3-0).

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Battle Creek took every set by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-5, 25-13.

Battle Creek now has a winning record of 2-1.

Coming up, Battle Creek will take on Lewis County in a tournament on Friday. As for Marshall County, they will challenge Fayetteville at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
