Basketball Recap: Southeast's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Southeast had won three straight games and Kamaria Mercy did her part to make it four on Friday. The Southeast Golden Buffalo blew past the Northwest Grizzlies, posting a 63-26 victory thanks in part to Mercy, who dropped a triple-double with 17 points, 11 boards, and ten steals. She continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played.

The team also got some help courtesy of Alana Webb, who went 7 for 16 to rack up 15 points and eight rebounds. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in boards.

Southeast now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Northwest, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season.
